Target Information

Swine prorelaxin is a term that is not widely recognized in the scientific literature for swine or any other species. It seems there might be a confusion or a misnomer. However, if we consider the term in a broader context, it could be related to relaxin, a hormone that is involved in various physiological processes, including reproduction and blood vessel relaxation. In swine, as in other mammals, relaxin could potentially be involved in similar processes, such as parturition and tissue remodeling.
