Rat GDF1 belongs to the TGF-beta superfamily as a secreted protein with conserved cysteine-knot structural domains. It sustains stable homodimer folding and intact receptor-binding motifs under physiological conditions and releases into extracellular fluid from embryonic and somatic tissue cell groups. Its dimeric secreted conformation and classic TGF-beta domain assembly differentiate it from membrane-bound transporters, cytoplasmic catalytic enzymes and intranuclear transcriptional factors with simpler structural layouts and static subcellular localization patterns.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
