Target Information

Mouse epoxide hydrolase 4 (EPHX4) is an enzyme belonging to the epoxide hydrolase family. It plays a role in the metabolism of xenobiotics and endogenous epoxides by converting them into diols. EPHX4 is involved in detoxification processes and helps protect cells from oxidative stress and DNA damage caused by reactive epoxide intermediates. This enzyme is predominantly expressed in the liver and other detoxifying organs.
