Rat LGALS12 is a soluble cytoplasmic lectin with conserved carbohydrate recognition domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is highly expressed in adipocyte populations within adipose tissue and partially detected in immune cell subsets. Its intracellular carbohydrate-binding structure and fat tissue-biased expression separate it from transmembrane cell surface receptors, secreted circulating signaling molecules and chromatin-binding nuclear transcriptional regulators with streamlined single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular localization profiles.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
