Mouse B-cell CLL/lymphoma 9 (BCL9) is a scaffolding protein essential for canonical Wnt signaling. It binds β-catenin and Pygo to recruit the transcriptional machinery to Wnt target genes, driving proliferation and cell-fate decisions. Highly expressed in hematopoietic progenitors and epithelial tissues, BCL9 sustains stem-cell programs and is frequently up-regulated in lymphoid and solid tumors. As a critical Wnt-pathway component, BCL9 is an important target for studies of development, oncogenesis, and Wnt-related disorders.
