Target Information

Stathmin, also known as metablastin and oncoprotein 18, is a highly conserved 17 kDa protein encoded by the STMN1 gene in pigs. It plays a crucial role in regulating the cell cytoskeleton. Stathmin is crucial for the regulation of the cell cycle and is involved in processes such as cytoplasmic organization, cell division, and cell motility. It is a biomarker in several types of neoplasms which plays an important role in cell cycle progression, mitosis, signal transduction and cell migration.
