Target Information
Nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1 (NFKB1), also known as p105, is a protein encoded by the NFKB1 gene. Overactivation of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) transcription factor occurs in canine cancers, including lymphoma, leukemia, hemangiosarcoma, breast cancer, melanoma, glioma, and prostate cancer. Research has shown that dogs may be an excellent model for human cancers with NF-κB overactivation.
