Target Information

Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is widely distributed in animal tissues. Taurine doesn't actually contribute to protein synthesis in the body. Taurine is found in certain foods, particularly animal proteins like meat, fish, and dairy products. Research has shown that taurine improves the antioxidant and anti-apoptosis ability of a bovine mammary epithelial cell line thereby alleviates damage of cells due to heat insults.
