Target Information
Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB subunit beta is encoded by the PAFAH1B1 gene in bovine. This protein plays a role in regulating inflammatory responses by breaking down platelet-activating factor (PAF), a molecule involved in inflammation and blood clotting, and helping to maintain a balanced inflammatory response and prevent excessive inflammation. The PAFAH1B1 protein is highly conserved, with only three amino acid differences between the human and bovine species.
