Target Information
Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1 (HSP90B1), also known as endoplasmin, gp96, grp94, or ERp99, is a chaperone protein encoded by the HSP90b1 gene. It plays critical roles in folding proteins in the secretory pathway, such as Toll-like receptors and integrins. Bovine Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1 is encoded by the HSP90b1 gene in cattle. Research has suggested that the increased heat tolerance is associated with a higher expression of HSP90B1.
