Target Information

Clathrin light chain B is a component of the clathrin coat, a protein structure involved in the formation of clathrin-coated vesicles essential for various cellular processes, including endocytosis and intracellular trafficking. It is found in the cytoplasm, associated with clathrin-coated vesicles. It is encoded by the bovine CLCB gene. It was found that clathrin light chain b is able to potently affect a major protein phosphatase from microtubules.
