Target Information

Protein kinase C beta type is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, serine/threonine kinases involved in diverse cellular processes like cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. It is found in various cellular compartments, including the cytoplasm, nucleus, and membrane. PKCβ is activated by specific signaling pathways and phosphorylates various target proteins. It is encoded by the bovine PRKCB gene. It is associated with phagocytosis function.
