Target Information
Rabbit Interleukin-2 (IL2) is a critical immunoregulatory cytokine primarily produced by activated T cells. It promotes the proliferation and activation of T cells, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells, enhancing immune responses. IL2 also plays a key role in the differentiation and function of regulatory T cells (Tregs), which are essential for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmune diseases. In rabbits, IL2 has been studied for its effects on immune cell activation and proliferation, showing potential for enhancing immune responses in various disease models. Additionally, IL2's ability to modulate immune cell activity makes it a valuable target for research in immunotherapy and autoimmune diseases.
