Target Information
Feline CD63 antigen (CD63) is a member of the tetraspanin family, expressed on the surface of various cells, including platelets, monocytes, and macrophages. In cats, CD63 is involved in cellular processes such as exosome formation, protein sorting in late endosomes, and multivesicular bodies. It also plays a role in platelet activation and cell signaling. CD63 can serve as a marker for exocytosis and is implicated in immune responses and tumor progression.
