Target Information
Transforming growth factor beta inducible (TGFBI), also known as BIGH3 or BIG-H3, is a protein encoded by the TGFBI gene. This protein plays a role in cell-collagen interactions and may be involved in endochondral bone formation. It is induced by transforming growth factor β and acts as an inhibitor of cell adhesion. Research showed that TGFBI was upregulated in primary chicken myoblast cells treated with Angelica gigas Nakai extract.
