Target Information

Matrix metallopeptidase 9, also known as 92kDa type IV collagenase, is encoded by the MMP9 gene. MMP-9 is mainly expressed in neutrophils, macrophages, and mast cells. Research showed that the mRNA of MMP9 in the granulosa cells of chickens was induced by TGFB1.
