Target Information

Melatonin is a hormone that plays a role in sleep and helps regulate circadian rhythms. Typically, melatonin production increases in the evening after sunset. Melatonin levels are higher at night and lower in bright daylight. Its levels naturally fluctuate throughout the day and night, helping regulate our body clock. The diurnal rhythm of serum melatonin in dogs is similar to that reported in humans.
