Target Information

Stathmin, also known as metablastin and oncoprotein 18, is a highly conserved 17 kDa protein encoded by the STMN1 gene in cattle. Stathmin is a ubiquitous microtubule destabilizing protein that is thought to play an important role in linking cell signaling to the regulation of microtubule dynamics. Stathmin is crucial for the regulation of the cell cycle and is involved in processes such as cytoplasmic organization, cell division, and cell motility.
