Target Information

Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 2 is encoded by the CXCL2 gene in cattle. CXCL2 is produced by a variety of cell types including macrophages, epithelial cells, hepatocytes and monocytes in response to infection or injury. It helps recruit polymorphonuclear leukocytes to the site of infection or injury and modulates immune responses.

Target/Biomarker Bovine CXCL2
Target Synonym chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 2; GRO3; growth-regulated protein homolog gamma; GRO-gamma; GRO3 oncogene; GRO3 growth related gene 3
