Target Information

Trichomonas is a genus of anaerobic excavate parasites found in vertebrates. Typically, Trichomonas measures approximately 10 μm in length and has a pear-shaped appearance. T. canistomae is regarded as a harmless commensal with no significant veterinary implications and has been identified in the oral cavities of dogs.
