Target Information

Bifidobacterium bifidum is a species within the genus Bifidobacterium. It is a Gram-positive, anaerobic bacterium that is non-motile and does not form spores. This rod-shaped bacterium can exist in clusters, pairs, or independently. It is predominantly located in the colon, lower small intestine, breast milk, and frequently in the vagina. B. bifidum is one of the most common probiotic bacteria found in mammals, including humans.
