Target Information
Mouse Lymphocyte Antigen 75 (Ly75), also known as DEC-205 or CD205, is a C-type lectin receptor expressed primarily on antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells (DCs), macrophages, and certain epithelial cells. Ly75 plays a crucial role in antigen uptake, endocytosis, and presentation to T cells, facilitating the initiation of immune responses. In mouse models, targeting antigens to Ly75 on DCs has been shown to induce antigen-specific T cell responses and promote immune tolerance. Additionally, Ly75 has been implicated in the regulation of immune cell infiltration and polarization, particularly in the context of cancer and inflammation.
