Porcine DRA is a single-pass transmembrane glycoprotein with conserved extracellular antigen-binding domains and a short cytoplasmic tail. It maintains stable heterodimeric assembly with beta chains under physiological conditions and presents abundantly on plasma membranes of antigen-presenting immune cell subsets. Its cell-surface anchored topology and antigen-recognition modular structure separate it from soluble cytoplasmic enzymes, secreted circulating signaling peptides and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with compact single-domain assemblies and confined static subcellular localization profiles.
