Target Information
Mouse YAF2 is a nuclear co-regulatory protein with conserved protein-interacting domains that maintain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is widely expressed in various somatic cell populations and binds to transcription factor complexes within chromatin compartments. Its multi-domain nuclear adaptor structure and universal tissue distribution differentiate it from secreted signaling cytokines, transmembrane surface receptors and cytoplasmic metabolic enzymes with simplified single-domain assemblies showing restricted expression in only specialized cell subgroups.
