Mouse integrin alpha 11 (ITGA11) is a conserved type I transmembrane glycoprotein featuring a large extracellular region and a short intracellular domain. It assembles into heterodimeric units and is enriched in stromal and connective tissue-derived cell populations. This protein retains stable molecular conformation and structural integrity under physiological conditions. Its cell surface localization and heterodimer assembly characteristics clearly separate it from cytosolic, nuclear and freely secreted protein counterparts.
