Specifications
Target Information
Mouse INS is a small secreted polypeptide hormone formed by conserved disulfide-linked structural domains that maintain stable folding under physiological conditions. It is released from pancreatic endocrine cell populations into extracellular circulatory fluids. Its compact soluble secretory framework and pancreas-restricted biosynthesis separate it from integral membrane receptors, cytoplasmic scaffolding proteins and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular localization profiles.
