Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for mouse heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1. It is purified by protein A/G. It can be applied to WB, IHC, ICC and IP assays of mouse heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1.
Specifications
Target Information
Mouse heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 (hnRNP A1) is an abundant nuclear-cytoplasmic RNA-binding protein of the hnRNP family. It features two conserved N-terminal RNA recognition motifs (RRMs), a C-terminal glycine-rich domain and nuclear shuttling signals critical for structural integrity. It localizes primarily to cell nuclei and perinuclear regions, with tissue-specific expression in mouse brain, liver and proliferative embryonic tissues, with low levels in quiescent adult muscle. The protein mediates pre-mRNA splicing and RNA transport, with conserved motifs for nucleic acid binding. Mouse hnRNP A1 shares core functional domains with mammalian orthologs, and has distinct RNA specificity differentiating it from hnRNP A2/B1 and hnRNP C1/C2.
