Target Information
Mouse dynamin 1 is a 97 kDa neuronal GTPase whose coiled-coil neck links four oligomerization domains; GTP hydrolysis twists the helix to sever clathrin-coated vesicles. A solvent-exposed 15-aa "PRS" loop (aa 518-532) between GED and GTPase domains forms a β-hairpin unique among dynamin isoforms. Antibodies to this loop trace native dynamin 1 in synaptic terminals, growth cones, and adrenal chromaffin cells, giving crisp vesicle collars and single-band blots without cross-reaction to dynamin 2 or 3.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
