Target Information

S100 calcium binding protein A11 is encoded by the S100A11 gene in pigs. As a member of the S100 family, S100A11 mediates signal transduction in response to internal or external stimuli. It is a small acidic protein which is involved in motility, invasion, and tubulin polymerization. It plays various roles in different diseases, such as cancers, metabolic disease, neurological diseases, and vascular calcification.
