Keyhole limpet hemocyanin is a copper containing oxygen-carrier protein that can be used as vaccine carrier protein in vaccine research and development. The keyhole limpet hemocyanin protein is glycosylated protein consisting of around 3400 amino acids, which cannot be reproduced synthetically. It is only available by purification from Megathura crenulata.

User Note
- Dissolve the hemocyanin protein at concentration of 5-10 mg/ml in PBS buffer. Do not vortex. Hemocyanin is large carrier protein complex that may aggregate and precipitate from solutions.
