Target Information

Agouti related neuropeptide is encoded by the AGRP gene in chickens. Research has shown that cSPX2 acts as a satiety factor via upregulating cocaine and amphetamine regulated transcript (CART) and downregulating agouti-related neuropeptide (AGRP) in chicken hypothalamus.
