Target Information

C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 13 is encoded by the CXCL13 gene in dogs. Research has shown that natural infection with Leishmania infantum is associated with the impairment of follicular dendritic cells, CXCL13 expression, B cell migration and germinal center formation and associates these changes with severe clinical forms of visceral leishmaniasis.

Target/Biomarker Canine CXCL13
Target Synonym C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 13; C-X-C motif chemokine 13; chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 13 (B-cell chemoattractant)
