Target Information
Protein phosphatase 4 (PP4C), a member of the PPP family of serine/threonine protein phosphatases, is involved in centrosome nucleation, growth and maturation during cell division. Protein phosphorylation is a common form of reversible post-translational modification (PTM). Up to 30% of all proteins undergo phosphorylation at any given time. PP4 belongs to the PPP family, which includes several other phosphatases like PP1, PP2A, PP2B, PP5, PP6, and PP7.
