Target Information
Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 1 (PEBP1), also known as adipose differentiation-related protein (ADRP) or adipophilin, is a multifunctional protein with diverse roles. Bovine Phosphatidylethanolamine-Binding Protein 1 is encoded by the PEBP1 gene in cattle. PEBP1 specifically binds to phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), a lipid component. It has been reported that PEBP1 binds to the RAF1 protein kinase, inhibits its activity, and suppresses signaling through the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway.
