Target Information

The apelin receptor is encoded by the porcine APLNR gene. The Apelin Receptor (APLNR) is a key player in maintaining cardiovascular health and fluid balance. Its ligands, apelin and elabela, modulate its activity. It is a receptor for apelin. APLN and APLNR are extensively expressed in many tissues in both humans and various animal species, both laboratory and farm animals.
