Target Information
Mouse Integrin Beta-1 (Itgb1) is a key component of the integrin family, forming heterodimers with various alpha subunits to mediate cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. Itgb1 is involved in the binding of extracellular matrix components such as fibronectin, laminin, and collagen, facilitating cell-matrix interactions. In mouse models, Itgb1 is highly expressed in tissues like the brain, heart, and skeletal muscle, where it plays a crucial role in maintaining tissue integrity and function. Abnormal expression or function of Itgb1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where it can promote tumor invasion and metastasis by enhancing cell adhesion and migration.
