Target Information

Bovine tissue factor (TF) is a protein that functions as a receptor and an enzyme, playing a critical role in the coagulation cascade and the extrinsic pathway of blood clotting. It is expressed on the surface of various cells, including endothelial cells, monocytes, and fibroblasts, and is essential for initiating the blood coagulation process when the blood vessel is damaged. In bovine, TF is crucial for maintaining hemostasis and preventing excessive bleeding, as well as for modulating inflammation and cell signaling in response to tissue injury.
