Target Information
Bovine hemoglobin alpha 1 (HBa1) is a component of hemoglobin, a metalloprotein found in red blood cells that carries oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. It is one of the two types of globin chains, along with hemoglobin beta, that make up the hemoglobin molecule. In cattle, HBa1 plays a critical role in oxygen transport and is essential for maintaining metabolic functions. It is also an important biomarker for assessing the health and physiological state of the animal. The level of HBa1 can be influenced by various factors, including the animal's health status, environmental conditions, and genetic makeup.
