Target Information

Rat STAP1 is an intracellular signal adaptor protein containing conserved phosphotyrosine-binding domains that sustain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It localizes within immune cell cytoplasm and assembles multi-protein signaling complexes upon membrane receptor activation. Its cytoplasmic multi-domain scaffolding structure and immune-enriched expression differentiate it from transmembrane surface receptors, soluble circulating cytokines and chromatin-associated nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and widespread expression across non-immune somatic tissues.
