Rat MPZ is a transmembrane structural glycoprotein with conserved extracellular adhesion domains and a compact cytoplasmic tail that maintains stable conformation under physiological conditions. It densely accumulates on plasma membranes of peripheral nerve Schwann cell populations. Its myelin-enriched membrane-bound architecture and neural tissue-restricted expression separate it from soluble secreted signaling peptides, cytoplasmic scaffold adaptors and intranuclear transcriptional regulators with streamlined single-domain assemblies and static single-compartment subcellular localization profiles.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
