Target Information

Rat Endothelial Protein C Receptor (EPCR) is a transmembrane protein predominantly expressed on endothelial cells. It plays a crucial role in the anticoagulant pathway by binding activated protein C (APC) and enhancing its activity. EPCR facilitates the inactivation of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa, promoting anticoagulation. Additionally, it is involved in cytoprotective signaling pathways that maintain endothelial integrity and promote cell survival.
