It mainly localizes to the cell nucleus, spindle microtubules, and midbody during cell division. This protein shows high structural stability and folding integrity under physiological cellular conditions. Its dynamic nuclear and mitotic apparatus localization clearly distinguishes it from cytoplasmic, secretory, and plasma membrane proteins.
