Rat MUC5AC is a large secreted glycoprotein with abundant conserved glycosylation domains that retain stable protein conformation under physiological conditions. It is predominantly produced by goblet cell populations in mucosal epithelial linings of respiratory and digestive tracts. Its heavily glycosylated polymeric structure and mucosa-specific expression distinguish it from transmembrane receptors, cytoplasmic scaffolding adaptors and chromatin-interacting nuclear transcriptional regulators with simplified single-domain assemblies and broad expression across non-mucosal somatic tissues.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
