Rat CX40 is a four-pass integral membrane protein with conserved extracellular loop domains and cytoplasmic regulatory segments. It maintains stable oligomeric folding to form intercellular channel structures under physiological conditions and accumulates on plasma membranes of cardiovascular cell populations. Its transmembrane channel-forming topology and repetitive connexin core layout differentiate it from soluble cytoplasmic enzymes, secreted circulating signaling factors and intranuclear regulatory proteins with simplified domain assemblies and fixed single-compartment subcellular distribution profiles.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C on receipt (up to 24 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
