Target Information
Mouse Arginase is a manganese metalloenzyme that catalyzes the conversion of L-arginine to urea and L-ornithine, playing a key role in the urea cycle and arginine metabolism. It is predominantly expressed in the liver but can also be induced in macrophages and dendritic cells. Arginase-1 (Arg1) is involved in immune response, inflammation, and wound healing, and its dysregulation is associated with various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders.
