Target Information
Phenethanolamine A is a synthetic beta-adrenergic receptor agonist belonging to the same broad class of compounds as clenbuterol and ractopamine. It functions as a "lean meat powder". Although never legally approved for veterinary use, it has been illicitly used as a feed additive in livestock production (particularly in swine and cattle). Phenethanolamine A alters animal metabolism by promoting lipolysis (fat burning) and accelerating protein synthesis, resulting in artificially increased lean meat percentages and improved feed conversion rates.
