Mouse Toll Like Receptor 1 (TLR1) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

Toll-like receptor 1 (TLR1) is involved in the innate immune response to microbial agents, specifically recognizing diacylated and triacylated lipopeptides. It works in conjunction with TLR2 to mediate the immune response to bacterial lipoproteins or lipopeptides. In response to triacylated lipopeptides, TLR1 forms an activation complex with TLR2 and CD14, which initiates signaling from the cell surface and is subsequently directed to the Golgi via a lipid-raft dependent pathway. TLR1 is capable of recognizing and binding to specific bacterial lipoproteins, such as the natural Mycobacterium tuberculosis 19-kDa lipoprotein and synthetic triglyceride-modified lipopeptides. In TLR1-deficient mice (TLR1−/−), exposure to these lipoproteins results in impaired production of proinflammatory cytokines, highlighting TLR1's critical role in detecting these specific lipoproteins and triggering inflammatory responses.
