Mouse C-C Motif Chemokine 24 (CCL24) ELISA Kit-Sandwich

C-C motif chemokine 24 is chemotactic for resting T-lymphocytes and eosinophils, exhibiting lower chemotactic activity for neutrophils and none for monocytes and activated lymphocytes. It strongly suppresses colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line. The expression of CCL24 in the liver is closely associated with liver fibrosis and inflammation. Neutralizing antibodies against CCL24, such as CM-101, can significantly reduce liver injury, inflammation, and fibrosis in the Mdr2−/− mouse model. CCL24 is primarily secreted by liver macrophages and facilitates the recruitment and proliferation of immune cells during inflammation and fibrosis. It also promotes the activation and proliferation of hepatic stellate cells (HSC) by activating macrophages and fibroblasts, thereby exacerbating liver fibrosis.
