Product Overview

BioVenic Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Probe-based qPCR Kit is designed for the real-time detection of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens in Biological samples using a Probe-based qPCR method. For research use only.

Specifications

Assay Type Probe-based qPCR
Specificity Bacillus amyloliquefaciens
Target Species Bacterium
Sample Requirement Biological samples

Target Information

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, a species within the Bacillus genus, is known for producing the BamHI restriction enzyme. It also synthesizes barnase, a well-studied ribonuclease that forms a highly stable complex with its intracellular inhibitor barstar, as well as plantazolicin, an antibiotic targeting Bacillus anthracis. Research indicates that supplementing broiler diets with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens enhances intestinal microflora, promotes intestinal development, boosts immunity, and improves growth performance.
