Target Information
Mouse Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 2A (Cdkn2a) is a critical regulator of cell cycle progression and apoptosis. It encodes two distinct tumor suppressors, p16INK4a and p19ARF, which play essential roles in the retinoblastoma and p53 pathways, respectively. Cdkn2a is involved in various biological processes, including negative regulation of lymphocyte proliferation, positive regulation of the apoptotic process, and regulation of transcription.
